Most of the Kokaly family members live in Beit Sahour near Bethlehem in Palestine. The rest are split between Spain, Chile, Greece and the USA.

The Kokalys in Spain, Palestine and Greece are around 110 members. There are two stories as to where the word "Kokaly" comes from.
